Don't you know that most websites and blogs gathers information from you every time that you visit them (including this blog)? This is actually the main reason why Google now requires a "Privacy Policy" page for all sites that are available on their Google Search Engine.
So what is a Privacy Policy?
A Privacy Policy is a page where the Webmasters or Site Owners declares how they gather data from their visitors. These are basic data that most likely pertains to your behavior towards the site.
As the Webmaster of The Bible Teaching, here are the following services that I use in gathering data from your visits:
1. Google Analytics
Many Webmasters are actually using Google Analytics into their site which is a tool used to track the number and behavior of their visitors. Some of the basic information recorded by Google Analytics includes your IP Address, Operating System, Web Browser, Geographic Location and etc...
Google Analytics is owned by Google and they keep on improving this tool. Thus, further data will most likely be introduced in their future updates. Due to this reason, I do suggest that it's best to check www.google.com/analytics/standard/ for the complete list of data that are being gathered. I also recommend that you should read Google Analytics' Privacy Policy page.
2. AddThis
The majority of internet users today do surely own a social media account such as FaceBook, Twitter and Pinterest. If you are one among them then you must have already shared a certain site into your social network of friends.
AddThis is another free-service tool that allows you to share any available post on this blog into your group of social network friends with simplicity and ease. You can easily share the post that you like by simply interacting to the AddThis social icons.
The cookie file works in a basic way by simply recording the number of how many visitors have utilized the AddThis social icons for a certain specific post or page.
And just like Google Analytics, AddThis also keeps on updating their tool particularly on the feature of gathering additional and useful data for the site owners. Thus, you should check www.addthis.com to know more about these data that are being collected.
3. Google Adsense
Google Adsense is owned by Google and it is the most popular monetization method by most websites and blogs. This affiliate program is a CPC (Cost-Per-Click) based earning system which means that webmasters utilizing Google Adsense will only earn their commissions when their visitors visit the ads that are displayed on their site.
When it comes to your data being gathered, Google Adsense's advertising companies will most likely use cookie files. The main purpose of these cookie files is to evaluate your behavior towards the content of the site. Through them, advertisers will know your specific field of interests. So on your next visit, the generated ads will become more related to your interest which may catch your attention to visit them.
Unfortunately, webmasters don't have any control into these cookie files. We also don't have any idea about the contents of these files because they are most likely encrypted. Anyway, if you are simply just curious enough to know the contents of those cookie files then you will have to contact the advertising companies responsible for generating them.

Amazon is one of the most popular online store today because they sell almost any kind of products and services. Being an Amazon affiliate partner allows us to monetize our website or blog by selling Amazon product or services and earn some commissions on our successful sales.
As an Amazon affiliate partner, this blog is monetized with Amazon products. Thus, you may encounter links that will take you to an Amazon sales page. Take note, Amazon's cookie file will only put to work once you visited the link that I promote which takes you to the sales page. The cookie file work in a way by simply taking note of that referrer of product (which on this case is me) for a certain time period before it expires.
Moreover, if there is something that it pretty unclear to you regarding about this Privacy Policy then please contact me.
What is a Cookie File?
As already explained above, a cookie file is a tiny small file generated by either a service or advertisement being utilized or displayed on this blog. These are tiny small files that are automatically installed into your PC's temporary folder the moment that your web browser loaded any pages of this site.
If you know how to find the temporary folder in your computer then you can find these cookies. You can actually even open them with a notepad. However, they will most likely contain encrypted texts that even I could not read or interpret. Only the service or advertising companies who generated those cookies can decrypt those files.
When it comes to services, they use cookies to record your actions as you browse the pages of this blog. This data will then be used by us (webmasters) to further improve this site. As for the advertisers, they use cookies to record your interests.
